Meditative Arts
Meditation is the eternal source of harmonious, creative living.
Meditative arts use the art of meditation in order to help unfold the
art of creative living. In this way, the distinction between art and life
dissolves and a natural spontaneity, vibrancy and creative joy begins
to manifest.
Although many methods and forms of creative expression are used (dance-movement work,
music, poetry, visual expression, etc.), the heart of this work revolves around
the practice of presence and awareness amidst the dance of life. |

Merditative Arts workshops range from guided
meditations and improvisations to free improvisation. However, all work
is generally preceded by silent meditation as a means of emptying and
attuning oneself. Cross-fertilization between different artistic disciplines
and cultures is actively encouraged, particularly in the context of improvisation.
The Centre invites both professionals and non-professionals to participate
in the unfolding of the 'tao of creation' . Suggestions for workshops
and projects are most welcome (for workshop details, please consult the
workshops link).
